The Talent Acquisition Specialist executes full-cycle recruitment to ensure the organization attracts, evaluates, and hires qualified talent. This role partners with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develops sourcing strategies, manages candidate pipelines, and ensures a seamless onboarding process. The Specialist leverages the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage requisitions, track candidate progress, maintain compliance, and support recruitment analytics.

Essential Duties
  • Conduct full-cycle recruitment for exempt, non-exempt, temporary, and student positions.
  • Facilitate structured intake meetings to clarify role requirements and competencies.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies, including job boards, social media, networking, and community partnerships.
  • Screen candidates using structured, competency-based methods.
  • Coordinate interviews and guide hiring managers on best practices.
  • Administer the ATS to ensure accurate requisition management, candidate tracking, and compliance documentation.
  • Generate recruitment metrics and reports to support workforce planning.
  • Facilitate new-hire onboarding, including pre-employment requirements, background checks, and orientation.
  • Maintain recruitment records consistent with EEO, affirmative action, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct exit interviews and support offboarding processes.
  • Partner with hiring managers to improve recruitment outcomes and ensure process adherence.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Proficiency with ATS and HRIS platforms.
  • Strong sourcing skills, including advanced search techniques.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and recruitment compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret recruitment data.
  • Ability to deliver structured interviews and apply anchored scoring rubrics.
  • Commitment to equitable candidate experience and organizational values.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 60 college credits in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field. Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • OR HS diploma with 7 - 10 years of progressively responsible HR experience with strong focus on full-cycle recruitment, sourcing, ATS utilization, and onboarding.
  • HR certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP, APHR) preferred but not required.
Working Conditions

Work is performed onsite in a professional office environment.

  • Support continuous improvement of recruitment processes.
  • Maintain compliance with EEO, ADA, FCRA, and DOL guidelines.
  • Provide coaching to hiring managers on interviewing and selection.
  • Ensure documentation accuracy for audit readiness.

Skills Required

  • Minimum of 60 college credits in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field
  • Alternatively, a high school diploma with 7–10 years of progressively responsible HR experience focused on full-cycle recruitment, sourcing, ATS utilization, and onboarding
  • Proficiency with ATS and HRIS platforms
  • Strong sourcing skills, including advanced search techniques
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and recruitment compliance requirements
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret recruitment data
