This position requires strong business partnership, sound judgment, persistence, and the ability to represent Kodiak professionally in the marketplace while delivering a consistent and positive candidate and hiring manager experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand staffing needs, role requirements, team dynamics, business priorities, and the profile of successful candidates.
  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies for assigned roles, including direct outreach, LinkedIn sourcing, searches, referral generation, networking, talent mapping, and targeted market research.
  • Identify and engage passive candidates who may not be actively applying, clearly communicating Kodiak’s value proposition and building long-term relationships for current and future openings.
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for recurring, hard-to-fill, specialized, and business-critical positions across the organization.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate communication, offer support, pre-employment steps, and transition to onboarding.
  • Screen and assess candidates for experience, qualifications, motivation, compensation expectations, cultural alignment, and overall fit with the business need.
  • Serve as a consultative advisor to hiring managers by providing market insight, candidate availability, sourcing feedback, pipeline updates, and recommendations to improve hiring outcomes.
  • Represent Kodiak professionally with candidates, industry contacts, search partners, community organizations, technical schools, colleges, and other potential talent sources.
  • Maintain accurate and timely recruiting activity, candidate status, notes, and requisition information in the applicant tracking system or other recruiting tools.
  • Support employer branding initiatives by promoting Kodiak’s culture, opportunities, career paths, and employee value proposition throughout the recruiting process.
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with applicable employment laws, company policies, equal employment opportunity requirements, and internal approval processes.
  • Track recruiting metrics and use data to evaluate sourcing effectiveness, pipeline health, time-to-fill, candidate quality, and process improvements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Certifications

  • Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and business leaders to develop recruiting strategies and advise on candidate pipelines preferred.
  • Industry knowledge or recruiting experience in compression, power generation, or related energy services is a plus.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system (Workday preferred) and maintaining accurate recruiting records required.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong proactive sourcing capability with the ability to identify talent beyond applicants who have already applied.
