About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing Talent Acquisition team in the United States. This individual will play a critical role in attracting, assessing, and hiring top talent across the clinical research organization (CRO) environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of recruiting for clinical research and clinical operations roles, including positions such as Clinical Research Associates (CRAs), Clinical Trial Managers, Clinical Project Managers, Clinical Research Coordinators, Regulatory Affairs professionals, Medical Monitors, Data Managers, Biostatisticians, and other clinical development professionals.

This role requires a proactive recruiter who can serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, build strong talent pipelines, and deliver exceptional candidate experiences while supporting the company's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition intake through offer negotiation and onboarding.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand hiring needs, workforce plans, and talent market dynamics.
  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage high-quality candidates for clinical research and corporate roles.
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions across Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, Data Management, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, and Business Development.
  • Conduct candidate screening interviews and assess candidates for technical competencies, cultural fit, and career motivations.
  • Coordinate and facilitate interview processes while ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Talent Market Intelligence

  • Provide insights on talent availability, market trends, competitor hiring activities, and compensation benchmarks.
  • Advise hiring managers on realistic hiring expectations, recruitment strategies, and emerging talent trends within the clinical research industry.
  • Utilize labor market intelligence and recruitment analytics to improve hiring outcomes.

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as a trusted recruitment partner to business leaders and hiring managers.
  • Drive effective communication throughout the recruitment process and ensure timely updates to key stakeholders.
  • Influence hiring decisions through data-driven recommendations and market insights.

Sourcing & Networking

  • Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, professional associations, referrals, networking events, and industry contacts to identify top talent.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with passive candidates for future hiring needs.
  • Build and maintain talent communities within specialized clinical research disciplines.

Process Excellence

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, equal employment opportunity regulations, and recruitment best practices.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Track and report key recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, pipeline health, and quality of hire.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and hiring manager satisfaction.

Employer Branding

  • Act as a brand ambassador for the organization.
  • Support employer branding initiatives across social media, professional associations, conferences, and industry events.
  • Promote the organization's culture, career opportunities, and employee value proposition.

Qualifications and Experience

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Advanced qualifications in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources are advantageous.

Experience

  • Minimum 5–8 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably within: 
    • Contract Research Organizations (CROs)
    • Pharmaceutical companies
    • Biotechnology companies
    • Clinical research or healthcare organizations
  • Demonstrated success recruiting clinical research professionals across multiple functions and levels.
  • Prior experience recruiting for roles such as: 
    • Clinical Research Associate (CRA)
    • Clinical Project Manager
    • Clinical Operations Manager
    • Data Manager
    • Biostatistician
    • Medical Monitor
    • Regulatory Affairs Specialist
    • Pharmacovigilance professionals

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of clinical research, drug development processes, and CRO operating models.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Experience utilizing recruitment analytics and talent market intelligence.
  • Strong candidate sourcing and headhunting capabilities.

Salary Band – Senior TA Specialist: $110,000 to $145,000 USD – Salary offered will be based on candidates experience level.
