Summary Generated by Built In

Every person at Goodwill came through a recruiter first — someone who found them and helped them say yes.

As a Talent Acquisition Recruiter, that is you. You own your openings from the first conversation with a hiring leader to a new team member's first day, partnering with store and program leaders to hire well and on time. It is fast-paced, people-first work, and you will report to the Director, Human Resources.

Many of the people we hire are returning to work or starting over. As a second-chance employer, we believe a past should not close the door on a future — and you will help open those doors every day, the work behind our mission of Building Lives That Work.

What you’ll be doing

In a typical week, you will:

  • Manage your assigned openings from intake through start date

  • Source and screen candidates, and keep a strong pool ready for roles that open again and again

  • Schedule interviews and keep candidates and hiring leaders up to date

  • Extend offers, coordinate background checks, and hand new hires off to orientation

  • Coach hiring leaders on the local talent market and on structured, fair interviews

  • Represent Goodwill at job fairs, hiring events, and community partner sites

  • Partner with Goodwill mission programs to connect job seekers facing barriers with open roles

  • Track results like time to fill and suggest ways to hire faster and better
