As part of our expansion, we are currently looking for a suitably motivated - Talent Acquisition Partner - to join our group.


MBRYONICS is moving from R&D to high-volume manufacturing of its next-generation optical terminal technology. We are looking for an ambitious and mission-driven Recruitment Specialist to support our overall recruitment needs, building and developing the evolving team behind MBRYONICS’ satellite communication systems. You will be instrumental in attracting, converting, and retaining the world’s brightest talent across all functions, ensuring we have the workforce needed to conquer space and connect the world.

What you'll do

Academic Relations:

  • Build and maintain deep partnerships with top-tier universities, technical institutes, and research centres in Ireland, Europe, and further afield internationally.
  • Represent MBRYONICS at careers fairs, industry partnership events, and professional networking evenings, sometimes requiring flexible working hours and international travel.

Internship & Graduate Programmes:

  • Support the design and management of our Internship and Graduate Rotation programmes, ensuring students have a clear path from "campus to cosmos".
  • Define clear success metrics for all programmes and the candidates undertaking them, linked directly to our long-term hiring goals.

Strategic Sourcing:

  • Support full-cycle recruitment for roles across all disciplines, including Engineering, Finance, HR, Operations, and specialised Deep Tech roles (e.g., Photonics Engineering and Optical Physics).
  • Manage a world-class candidate experience, from initial outreach through to offer acceptance.

Mentorship Culture:

  • Work with internal leads to develop mentorship frameworks, ensuring early-career hires are supported and retained through structured guidance and clear development paths.

Technical Partnering:

  • Translate complex organisational and departmental requirements into compelling job stories that resonate with candidates.

Compliance:

  • Ensure all early career recruitment practices adhere to Irish and European employment law.
  • Manage and report on all visa and work permit requirements for international  hires, ensuring MBRYONICS maintains compliance as a global employer.
The Emerging Talent Focus

Future-Proofing:

  • You won't just fill current gaps; you will project our talent needs 2-3 years out and build the pipelines to meet them working closely with the functional heads.

Brand Ambassador:

  • Act as the face of the company at career fairs, hackathons, space-tech competitions (like the Stripe YSTE), and industry events, delivering an authentic and inspiring message.

Who you are

  • Experience: 3+ years in full-cycle recruitment, with at least 1 year specifically focused on University Relations or Early Career programming.
  • The "Space" Factor: A genuine passion for space technologies, and the ability to explain our mission to students.
  • Programme Management: Proven ability to support the development and execution of an internship program, manage budgets, and track ROI.
  • Networking: You enjoy being on the ground, meeting candidates and students, and identifying the future talent.

What We Do

MBRYONICS designs, engineers, and manufactures optical payloads (optical communications and photonics) and optical ground stations for next generation extremely high throughput hybrid Optical/RF satellite systems, optical mesh networks, optical relays, and autonomous optical sensor networks for high precision space domain awareness.

We specialise in both the design and MAIT of optical and photonics systems for industrialised series production. MBRYONICS is pioneering the use of and industrialisation of FreeForm optics and photonic integrated circuits for space systems, including inter-satellite communications, optical feeder links, intra-satellite communications (analogue/digital) and microwave photonics applications.

We have nearly two decades of experience in research and development on some of the most challenging photonics and optics projects, finding cost effective solutions to new technical challenges. We regularly collaborate and consult with teams that need photonics and optics engineering, design and manufacturing AIT expertise, from early stage path finding to industrial production. Collaborating closely to identify the key problems and opportunities while bringing our years of experience to the table from a multidisciplinary team.
