Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition Strategy & Delivery

  • Own and deliver end-to-end recruitment across commercial, medical, corporate, and technical roles (from intake meeting to offer acceptance)
  • Sourcing and Candidate Pipeline: Utilize various sourcing methods, including online job boards, social media, and industry networks, to identify and engage with qualified Candidates. Proactively build and manage talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles
  • Candidate Assessment: Conduct in-depth interviews and assessments of candidates to evaluate their qualifications, skills, and cultural fit for the organization.

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Act as a trusted partner to hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and leadership teams in markets
  • Provide market insights, hiring recommendations, and data-driven guidance on talent availability, compensation trends, and recruitment timelines

Employer Branding & Market Presence

  • Strengthen Ferring’s employer brand, esp. in Japan through targeted sourcing strategies, external partnerships, and recruitment campaigns.
  • Represent Ferring in local recruitment events, universities, and professional networks as appropriate.

Process Excellence & Compliance

  • Ensure recruitment processes comply with local labor laws, data privacy requirements, and internal policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement in recruitment processes, tools, and candidate experience.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of recruitment metrics and hiring progress.

Regional & Global Collaboration

  • Collaborate with APAC and Global Talent Acquisition teams to align on standards, tools, and best practices.
  • Support regional TA initiatives, projects, and system enhancements as required.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or above; HR, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred.
  • Solid experience in talent acquisition, with exposure to Japan hiring markets.
  • Strong understanding of local labor laws, recruitment practices, and cultural nuances.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions and stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in English and Japanese
  • Knowledge of Workday or a similar ATS/HRIS is required.
  • Experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, life sciences, or a similarly regulated industry is preferred.
