Marsh McLennan is seeking a Talent Acquisition Operations Manager responsible for efficiently managing talent acquisition operational activities and processes, while creating a positive colleague and candidate experience across India, Asia and Pacific Regions. This role supports candidates throughout their journey from candidate to colleague, ensuring a smooth transition to Marsh McLennan.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Talent Acquisition Operations Manager to lead an experienced operational team of Team Leaders and Individual Contributors. In this role, you will ensure the team's productivity and operational excellence by achieving goals and service level agreements (SLAs). Your responsibilities include overseeing and optimizing recruitment operations processes, leading a team responsible for scheduling interviews, managing background verifications, coordinating offer processes, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new hires. Additionally, you will support the team in resolving complex work situations and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders and leaders. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in recruitment operations, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.

What can you expect?

  • Act as a partner between Talent Acquisition and Talent Operations to ensure an optimal colleague experience for all stakeholders.

  • Provide background verification status, joining status, or any critical/complex situation by publishing dashboards and engaging with managers/leaders.

  • Participate in regional and national business leader and human resource meetings, acting as a key liaison for Talent Acquisition Operations with the business and Talent Acquisition.

  • Educate hiring teams, business leaders, and human resources teams on Talent Operations best practices and expectations through the utilization of established materials such as Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).

  • Assign, manage, direct, and evaluate the work of a team of professionals to ensure effective objective achievement in a cost-efficient manner.

  • Ensure Standard Operating Procedures and business processes are up to date and provide training to the team on these processes, including compliance requirements.

  • Make real-time decisions, plan projects, and provide direction. Collaborate with internal Human Resources (HR) departments, HR partners, and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

  • Act as a point of contact for complex and high-visibility cases or cases requiring special handling. Provide supporting research and documentation for managers and COEs in escalated situations. Work with the HR Service Delivery team on process changes, communications, and feedback on services.

  • Support management by building strong relationships with internal partners and external vendors. Manage system changes/enhancements with vendors in collaboration with internal stakeholders and the broader Global Program Office Team.

  • Publish reports to management, including customer satisfaction surveys, monthly dashboards, and ad hoc requests.

  • Support operational reporting and quality initiatives by providing data/reporting from case management tools. Drive operational efficiency through the transition of work using internal partners and key vendors.

  • Ensure a consistently positive and professional experience for each candidate by managing candidate expectations and timing from selection to onboarding.

  • Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Talent Acquisition Operations team, including interview scheduling, background verification coordination, and onboarding logistics.

  • Process Improvement: Continuously review and refine recruitment operations processes to enhance efficiency, reduce time-to-hire, and improve the candidate experience.

  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of operations specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high-quality service delivery.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with recruiters, hiring managers, HR business partners, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficiency in the recruitment process.

  • Technology Utilization: Leverage recruitment technology platforms to automate and streamline operations, improving data accuracy and reporting capabilities.

  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements throughout the recruitment operations process. Implement quality assurance measures to maintain high standards of service delivery.

  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers (background check agencies, onboarding platforms) to ensure seamless service delivery and cost efficiency.

  • Metrics and Reporting: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to recruitment operations, providing regular reporting and insights to senior management.

  • Experience: Proven experience 10+ years in talent acquisition operations or recruitment operations management, with a strong understanding of interview scheduling, background verification processes, and onboarding logistics.

  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing priorities effectively.

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills, able to identify process gaps and implement effective solutions.

  • Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in recruitment and HR technology systems (Workday, scheduling tools), with the ability to leverage technology to drive operational efficiencies.
