The Opportunity
 

Hitachi Energy is a global technology leader advancing sustainable, affordable, and reliable energy solutions. We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Team Leader to drive strategic hiring initiatives across North America while contributing to our global Talent Acquisition (TA) community.  This is a remote-based opportunity.

In this role, you will lead a high-performing team of Talent Acquisition professionals, shape forward-looking hiring strategies, and play a critical role in transforming how we attract, engage, and hire top talent. You will partner closely with senior business leaders, HR, and global TA counterparts to deliver scalable, data-driven recruitment solutions that support
business growth and innovation.

How You’ll Make an Impact
 

Strategic Leadership & Transformation
• Develop and execute forward-looking talent acquisition strategies aligned with business priorities and workforce plans
• Drive transformation initiatives, including process optimization, digital hiring solutions, and continuous improvement programs
• Leverage market intelligence and talent insights to proactively identify future hiring needs and trends • Contribute as an active member of the global TA leadership community and support cross-regional initiatives
 

Stakeholder Partnership & Delivery
• Partner with senior business leaders, HR Business Partners, and Hiring Managers to deliver high-quality hiring outcomes
• Act as a trusted advisor, aligning talent strategies with evolving business needs
• Maintain strong relationships with external agencies and recruitment partners
• Ensure a seamless, inclusive, and high-quality candidate experience across all touchpoints

Team Leadership & Performance
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Talent Acquisition Partners
• Set clear goals, manage performance, and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning
• Facilitate regular team sessions to review progress, solve challenges, and share best practices
• Champion inclusion, collaboration, and high performance within the team Operational Excellence & Analytics
• Analyze recruitment metrics and KPIs to identify opportunities and improve efficiency
• Implement scalable, data-driven recruitment processes in partnership with HR Operations
• Support change management initiatives, ensuring clear communication and adoption within the team
• Act as a player-coach, contributing hands-on to critical and strategic hiring needs
 

Your Background
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience)
• ~10+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, including 2+ years of experience leading high-performing teams
• Proven success in managing regional or multi-site recruitment functions within a complex, matrixed organization
• Strong experience in driving TA transformation, process improvement, and adoption of innovative sourcing/recruiting technologies
• Demonstrated ability to attract and engage top talent using diverse sourcing strategies
• Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills
• Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to leverage data to inform decisions

• Experience leading both strategic initiatives and operational delivery
