About the Job:
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Intern to provide administrative, screening, sourcing, analytics, and operational support to our Talent Acquisition Department and work directly with our Talent Acquisition Consultants. This role offers hands‑on exposure to the recruiting lifecycle in a fast‑paced environment and is ideal for someone eager to learn talent acquisition, sourcing, candidate experience, data organization, and recruiting operations.
This internship is posted as a Spring/Summer opportunity; however, candidates interested in continuing part time during the academic year will also receive full consideration for an extended internship.
Key Requirements:
- Assist with candidate sourcing by posting/updating job openings across platforms, maintaining pipelines, and monitoring candidate flow.
- Review and screen resumes and applications; share promising profiles with Talent Acquisition Consultants.
- Conduct initial phone screens under the guidance of Talent Acquisition Consultants.
- Coordinate candidate communications, including interview confirmations, follow‑ups, and status updates to ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Schedule interviews and manage logistics as directed by Talent Acquisition Consultants.
- Maintain accurate, timely records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS); uphold data integrity across systems and reports.
- Pull completed assessments from the company system and attach to candidate profiles in ATS.
- Assist in developing recruitment marketing and sourcing strategies to improve candidate flow.
- Research and recommend new regional talent networks, job boards, and sourcing channels.
- Support weekly reporting on open requisitions, candidate stages, and recruiting metrics.
- Provide vacation coverage support for the Talent Acquisition Department to ensure continuity of essential recruiting tasks.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or another related discipline that supports the responsibilities of this role.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional, responsive, and customer‑focused.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in records, scheduling, and documentation.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Positive attitude and a strong team player; collaborative, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Previous experience in administrative or recruiting support (Talent Acquisition or HR) preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and/or recruiting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Handshake) considered an asset.
