QualificationsWhat You’ll Do as a Talent Acquisition Data and Insights Manager
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
- Act as the subject matter expert for recruitment systems (e.g. SmartRecruiters), partnering with technology and process teams to optimise workflows, enhance usability, and support automation and AI capabilities.
- Establish and maintain robust data structures within ATS and related tools, ensuring consistency, quality, and effective use of recruitment data for reporting and analytics.
- Develop and manage scalable dashboards and reporting with data and product teams, providing visibility into key recruitment metrics and measuring the impact of AI and automation on hiring outcomes.
- Analyse external talent market data and collaborate with Employer Brand and other teams to deliver insights on talent availability, competitor activity, and geographic opportunities.
- Assess recruiter workload, requisition distribution, and hiring output to evaluate capacity and productivity, and build forecasting models to support hiring demand.
- Monitor sourcing channels and careers site performance (e.g. LinkedIn, Indeed), analysing usage, candidate behaviour, and conversion rates to optimise channel effectiveness and improve the candidate experience.
What You’ll Bring

- 5+ years’ experience in talent acquisition or recruitment operations, with a strong understanding of end-to-end processes in high-volume or multi-role environments.
- Hands-on experience with recruitment systems and tools (e.g. ATS, sourcing platforms), with the ability to understand how systems, processes, and data interact across the recruitment lifecycle.
- Proven experience developing and maintaining recruitment reporting, dashboards, and operational insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and inefficiencies, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Ability to own recruitment systems and data workstreams while collaborating with technical and cross-functional teams (e.g. Technology, HR, Employer Branding) in a matrixed environment.
- Strong project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with experience working across multiple data sources and supporting the implementation of automation and AI-enabled recruitment tools.
