ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Under direction of the Human Resources Manager, the Talent Acquisition Assistant performs a variety of duties in support of a dynamic, national team of HR professionals dedicated to the firm’s staff and attorneys. This role has extensive contact inside and outside the firm, therefore this individual should be clear in their communication, able to pivot from various tasks, and ready to provide TOP ECHELON service.
Human Resources
- Assists with New Hire Experience schedule for Atlanta, and other offices as needed.
- Facilitates New Hire Experience in Atlanta; sets up workspaces for new employees, distributes schedules, coordinates with IT, multimedia, and training departments to ensure a seamless interaction for first days.
- Acts as new hire liaison on New Hire Experience days. Ensures new hires have all needs and questions met.
- Establishes positive relationships across departments and practice groups, to ensure that HR is a consistent, accessible and approachable point of contact.
- Maintains confidential personnel files.
- Oversees new hire gift distribution and keeps stock of gift closet.
- Additional duties as requested.
Recruiting
- Collaborates with the Talent Acquisition team, hiring leaders and candidates to schedule interviews.
- Identify qualified candidates for open roles through the utilization of various sourcing methods including job boards, networking, and referrals.
- Process candidate background screenings, including conducting reference calls.
- Assists Talent Acquisition Team with interviews, new hire paperwork, and onboarding.
- Conducts phone interviews as needed, at the request of the T.A. team.
- Updates recruiting tracking metrics with updates as needed.
- Coordinates meetings and spaces as needed.
- Additional duties as requested.
SKILLS NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- A positive attitude with a can-do work ethic.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment is essential.
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with varying levels inside and outside the firm.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Preferred: Previous experience in professional services.
