We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Tactical Buyer to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career to gain hands-on experience in managing negotiation, and administering procurement proposals, bids, and contracts with suppliers/vendors including Coordinating preparation of contract and bid documents, ensuring appropriate approvals are obtained throughout the process.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
Support the identification and qualification of new suppliers in collaboration with category teams, Supplier Quality, and Engineering.
Assist in negotiating offers and agreements with suppliers, including periodic updates of price lists, terms, and conditions.
Ensure project contractual requirements are reflected in supplier orders and contracts.
Contribute to bid analysis to identify the best value options. Supports bid and proposal teams by providing commercial offers as per Tender needs.
Tracks goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensure invoice processing.
Oversee supplier performance (on time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolve performance issues.
Initiate purchase orders (PO) in the system, according to the Purchase Requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirms delivery with suppliers, monitors and tracks supplier performance to purchase order requirements.
Align supplier orders with customer requirements (based on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/project requirements) in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability and price.
Follow internal Supply Chain Management (SCM) policies and procedures, ensuring supplier data is kept up to date in relevant systems.
Your Background:
Bachelor’s degree in economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent practical experience (internships or entry-level roles).
Some relevant experience in procurement or supply chain (internships or junior roles are welcome).
A collaborative mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Croatian is required.
