To support our continued growth, we are now looking for an Account Director (PR) who can lead the Business Team department including multiple sub-teams, with roles as below:
- Account Management & Client Partnership
- Uncover business needs and objectives, craft appropriate overall strategies and plans to achieve clients’ business objectives.
- Understand clients' businesses and identifies opportunities to grow our business with them.
- Maintain a close understanding of client campaigns, objectives, and challenges.
- Proactively consult with clients on emerging opportunities and potential risks, providing timely and insightful recommendations.
- Provide strategic oversight and guidance on account management activities, ensuring alignment with client objectives and overall business goals, as well as service quality.
- Media Relations and Local PR Expertise
- Serve as the agency's leading expert on the Vietnam media landscape, possessing an extensive network of media contacts and a deep understanding of media operations and trends.
- Proactively cultivate relationships with key media and influencers.
- Provide expert guidance on navigating media crises and protecting brand reputation.
- Act as a trusted partner to brand leaders, offering informed perspectives and strategic recommendations.
- Strategy Development & Execution
- Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy aligned with the corporation’s overall goals and brand objectives. Manage communication campaigns across multiple channels including digital, print, social media, and press.
- Demonstrate proficiency in writing skills to craft internal and client correspondence, communications plans, press materials, new business proposals, etc.
- Perform tactical proficiency in media practice including creating and driving outreach plans, message development, management of events, growth of contact network and effective pitching and training of spokespersons on speeches and presentations.
- Support brand awareness efforts and ensure all communication aligns with the branding guidelines.
- Work with cross-functional teams to create cohesive messaging for campaigns, events, and product launches.
- Measure the effectiveness of communication strategies through analytics and feedback.
- Identify opportunities to create new and innovative PR solutions that address emerging client needs and help them establish a competitive edge.
- Crisis Communication
- Prepare for and manage communication strategies during crisis situations, ensuring timely and effective responses to protect the brand’s reputation.
- Provide guidance to senior leadership on crisis communication tactics and handle sensitive situations with discretion.
- Talent Coaching and Development
- Mentor and develop team members to become trusted advisors and strategic partners to clients.
- Cultivate a culture of proactive problem-solving, innovation, and client-centricity within the team.
- Empower team members to anticipate client needs and proactively offer solutions.
- At least 8-year experience in PR/ Comms, already 1 - 2 years at Account Director- PR. Background agency is preferrable.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
- Understanding of PR landscape with strong media relations and deep knowledge of PR & influencer marketing campaigns.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation, including executive and C-level.
- Strong verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Team player who can work well with tight deadlines.
- Possesses a high degree of English competency.
