Job Purpose
This role is responsible for the assessment, POC, designing the core policy admin system transformation across the Asia markets.
The role requires deep technical knowledge of insurance policy admin systems, and specifically its modules and dependencies. Someone who is familiar with the surrounding business processes and impact of changing modules or integrating with other systems.
Works with colleagues in Platforms and different Market Delivery Teams to provide inputs and help define the core system modernization journey taking into account priorities and dependencies and maintain alignment across markets.
Major Accountabilities
- Help in the assessment, POC, gap analysis for piecewise externalization of policy admin systems modules and other initiatives part of the Ingenium Modernization Roadmap.
- Expected to do the coding/programming and investigation of medium to complex technical requirements
- Contribute to evaluation and selection of best-of-breed solutions for each externalized module
- Provide oversight/governance and support to Ingenium Delivery Teams across markets
Specialized Knowledge
- First-hand knowledge of core insurance value chain processes including new products, new business and underwriting, fulfillment, servicing, payments, financial reporting and claims
- Deep knowledge of insurance policy admin systems preferable DXC Ingenium
- Understanding of agile, digital delivery and the technical implications for policy admin systems
Education and Experience
- Over 10+ years of related experience of which 5+ years directly working with policy admin systems.
- Prior experience of implementing and operating insurance policy admin systems in more than one Asia market.
- The ability to operate at all levels within the organization (Business, Operations and IT).
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to manage in a changing and complex environment.
Communication Scope
- Can articulate the policy admin system modernization technical approach and solutions to both business and technical stakeholders and help them understand dependencies, priorities and rationale for technology choices
