Job Description:
Remitly's vision is to transform lives with trusted financial services that transcend borders. Since 2011, we have been tirelessly delivering on our promises to people who send money around the world. Today, we are reimagining global financial services and building products that extend beyond traditional barriers to give customers access to more of the services they need, no matter where they call home. Join over 2,700 employees worldwide who are growing their careers with purpose and connection with our customers while having a positive impact on millions of people around the globe.About the Role:
Modern IT operations rely on dozens of systems, many of which don't talk to each other out of the box. At Remitly, we're looking for an engineer who can bridge these silos by designing the automation infrastructure that connects our tools, systems, and data.
This role is ideal for someone who excels at building end-to-end integrations that reduce manual work, increase visibility, and improve operational efficiency. One day you might automate ticket creation from security alerts. Next, you could normalize telemetry from different systems into a real-time dashboard.
You'll be part of the IT Infrastructure team in Managua, building automations that interface with our global Identity, Device Management, and Networking platforms to improve visibility and operational efficiency
You Will:
Design, build, and maintain automation pipelines across identity, device management, networking, and monitoring platforms.
Develop API-based integrations that ingest, transform, and synchronize data between systems.
Create event-driven workflows that automatically trigger alerts, create tickets, or update dashboards.
Use platforms like Okta Workflows and embed code snippets for custom logic or parsing.
Build dashboards and reporting pipelines off normalized, automated data flows.
Maintain a library of reusable components and automation guides that scale across teams.
Collaborate with partners across Security, Engineering, and IT to identify automation opportunities.
Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues and participate in reviews of new tooling and infrastructure changes.
You Have:
2+ years of experience in IT Systems, DevOps, or related fields, with a focus on automation and integration.
Proficiency in using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or JavaScript to automate system tasks and handle data transformations.
Hands-on experience building API integrations and working with REST endpoints, webhooks, and event-based architectures.
Familiarity with low-code/no-code tools such as Okta Workflows, but with the ability to extend or replace them with code when needed.
Experience building production-grade automations—not just experiments or one-off scripts.
A practical engineering mindset: you value reliability, maintainability, and system security.
Strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a collaborative attitude across technical and operational teams.
Our Benefits:
In Site Subsidized Meals
Transportation
Premium Language Bonus
Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
Mental Health & Family Forming Benefits
Private Life Insurance
On site Clinic and Remitly Doctor
Continuous learning tools & certification programs
Reduced Working Hours per Week (from 48 to 40)
