Qualis LLC is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to provide SE advice and assistance for the development of Range test capabilities. The Systems Integration Engineer plays a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing complex system solutions that seamlessly integrate hardware and software components. This position is responsible for ensuring that diverse systems communicate effectively and operate as a cohesive unit to meet organizational objectives. The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, troubleshoot integration issues, and optimize system performance. A key outcome of this role is delivering reliable, scalable, and maintainable integrated systems that support business processes and enhance operational efficiency. The Systems Integration Engineer will also contribute to documentation, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives to uphold high standards of quality and compliance.
Essential Functions:
- Concept exploration/definition, technology prototype development, technology and market surveys
- Requirements definition, validation, verification, refinement, and functional analysis and allocation, decomposition and tracking
- Technical and acquisition documentation development and support
- Project Management SE process flow tool development
- Development of trade studies
- Configuration Management (CM)
- Technical reviews
- Independent Verification &Validation, other testing and data analysis
- Risk management
- Logistics
- Integration planning and engineering
- Technical coordination with suppliers, other support subcontractors, AFTC staff organizations and functionals, and other Government organizations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 10 years experience in systems integration, including hands-on work with hardware and software interfaces.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, APIs, and middleware technologies.
- Experience with scripting and programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Familiarity with system testing methodologies and debugging tools.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline.
- Experience with cloud platforms and integration services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices in system integration.
- Certifications such as INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) or relevant vendor certifications.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
