Why it’s worth it:
The Systems Engineer role is to operate, modernize, and protect core systems infrastructure across a hybrid cloud environment. This requires technical skills across various on-prem, IaaS, and SaaS technologies. This individual has direct responsibility over Servers (Windows and Linux), Cloud Infrastructure (AWS and SaaS Applications), Backups, and Automation Tools (Ansible, Salt, Chef, etc.). This engineer will implement improvements to existing systems and processes and ensure healthy day to day operations such as uptime, vulnerabilities, and recovery - to name a few. This is a great opportunity for a strong, technical individual to flex their ingenuity to solve technical problems and a great opportunity for growth in systems automation. This individual will work under the Systems Engineering Lead, and work side-by-side the Systems Engineering and Security team to ensure a ‘security-first’ mindset on all engineering initiatives.
