• Apply engineering theories, principles, concepts, standards, and methods sufficient to extend or modify theories, concepts, and assumptions.
• Apply and support digital engineering concepts and techniques throughout the program lifecycle, such as providing technical support to Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Provide engineering support services and inputs to program and project risk management activities in compliance with Air Force processes.
• Perform Information Systems Security Developer (631) and Systems Developer (632) Core/Additional Tasks and meet the KSAs as outlined in the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework.
• Provide analysis and recommendations to incorporate communications systems and Modular Open System Architectures (e.g. Open Mission Systems) on host platforms with an NC3 mission to enable NC3 modernization. Analysis considerations should include SWAP-C, HW/SW processing environments, and technology limitations.
• Evaluate the value and applicability of new or improved technology, strategies, trends, and applications.

High School Diploma

16+ years of systems engineering experience

• : Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Information Systems related field and 10+ years' systems engineer experience, OR Master's degree and 3+ years of systems engineering experience
• Knowledge of principles, criteria, and procedures of the DoD including DoD 5000.01 and DoD 5000.02 as well as the policies and processes of USAF, HQ AFMC, and AFNWC
• Strong working Knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office Suite software and project management/scheduling software programs such as MS Project.
