Job purpose
Join our Electrification Engineering team in Kraków and help shape the next generation of hybrid and electric vehicle propulsion systems.
As a Systems Development Engineer, you will own key traction inverter functions throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from concept and requirements definition through implementation, validation, and production release.
You will work closely with global customers, software, hardware, and test teams to deliver advanced power electronics solutions used in modern electric and hybrid vehicles.
Key responsibilties
- Own system functions for automotive power electronics and inverter products
- Define, analyze, and manage system requirements throughout the development lifecycle
- Collaborate with software, hardware, controls, and test engineers to deliver robust system solutions
- Drive technical discussions with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Support system architecture activities and function development.
- Lead technical risk assessments, trade-off analyses, and engineering reviews.
- Analyze internal and customer defects
- Support verification and validation activities to ensure compliance with product requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of systems engineering processes and best practices.
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive electronics development, embedded systems, power electronics, or a related engineering field
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience applying Systems Engineering principles throughout the product development lifecycle
- Experience with requirements engineering and requirements management.
- Understanding of embedded systems consisting of hardware and software components
- Knowledge of ASPICE and ISO 26262
- Experience with Polarion, DOORS or similar requirements management tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent English
Nice to have
- Experience with EV, hybrid vehicles, power electronics or inverter systems
- Experience with SysML, UML or MATLAB/Simulink
- Experience in engineering risk management methods such as DFMEA, FTA
- Knowledge of automotive communication networks and electrical systems

Recruitment process

- Phone Interview (approximately 30 minutes) - This initial conversation is designed to discuss your background, expectations, and answer any preliminary questions.
- Technical Interview(s) (1 to 1.5 hours, one or two rounds) - Conducted in English with the manager and an additional team member, this stage focuses on evaluating your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. The interview can be held via Teams or at our office.
- Final Interview (45 minutes) - A meeting with a representative from the HR department to ensure alignment with our company culture and discuss the next steps. This interview might also take place via Teams or at our office.
