The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced Systems Engineer (Level 3) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will possess a Top Secret/SCI clearance and have a robust background in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, practical testing experience, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
Responsibilities:
System and Application Testing:
Conduct practical testing of applications and systems.
Develop and maintain comprehensive application and system documentation.
Standard Operating Procedures:
Prepare and update standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in system operations.
Requirements Development:
Skillfully develop and apply system requirements.
Translate technical requirements into clear, concise documentation for non-technical end users.
Data Management:
Create and maintain data maps for data ingest processes.
Ensure accurate and efficient data flow within systems.
Collaboration:
Work closely with developers to understand system functionalities and requirements.
Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is desired.
Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in systems engineering.
Skills:
Practical testing expertise with a focus on application and system documentation.
Experience in the preparation of standard operating procedures.
Strong skill in developing and applying requirements.
Excellent communication skills to effectively translate technical understanding into technical writing for non-technical end users.
Proficiency in data map creation and maintenance for data ingest processes.
Certifications:
Must possess one of the following industry certifications (or equivalent education) at a minimum:
CCNA
CAP
Security+
CISSP
CASP
Security Clearance:
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
