Role & ResponsibilitiesSystem Architecture & Integration
  • Define and implement end-to-end system architectures for sensor integration across equipment and subsystems
  • Design scalable solutions supporting both new product development and retrofit of existing tools
  • Ensure seamless integration across hardware, controls, and software interfaces
Sensor Strategy & Deployment
  • Identify and deploy sensors aligned to failure modes, diagnostics, and predictive maintenance use cases
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external suppliers to evaluate and integrate new sensing technologies
  • Define requirements for sensor performance, accuracy, and reliability
Data Acquisition & Connectivity
  • Develop system requirements for data acquisition, synchronization, and signal conditioning
  • Enable connectivity using industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet-based, fieldbus, and serial interfaces)
  • Design scalable data pipelines from equipment to analytics platforms
Predictive Maintenance Enablement
  • Translate system requirements into data-driven maintenance capabilities, including anomaly detection and failure prediction
  • Partner with software engineering and data science teams to integrate analytics and AI/ML models
  • Support development of automated diagnostics and maintenance recommendations
System Validation & Reliability
  • Define and execute system-level validation plans to verify sensor accuracy and performance
  • Support reliability engineering by mapping failure modes to measurable signals and diagnostics
  • Ensure system robustness and performance across operating conditions
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead projects or functional teams with moderate scope, complexity, and resource requirements
  • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively and influence stakeholders to align on solutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to solve complex technical challenges and drive innovation
Problem Solving & Impact
  • Apply advanced analytical thinking to identify and resolve complex system-level issues
  • Drive improvements to products, processes, and services based on business and technical challenges
  • Contribute to achieving customer, operational, and project objectives in alignment with organizational goals
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
  • 6–10+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience in complex system integration within semiconductor equipment, industrial systems, or similar domains
  • Strong understanding of sensor technologies (e.g., pressure, temperature, flow, vibration, electrical signals)
  • Experience with data acquisition systems and industrial communication protocols
  • Knowledge of system architecture, system integration, and requirements definition
  • Familiarity with predictive maintenance, diagnostics, and reliability engineering concepts

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
