Responsibilities- Develop software in LabVIEW programming environment for sensor acquisition and actuator control systems.
- Design, develop, document, test and debug application software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions for onboard ship and submarine research.
- Collaborate with equipment designers and hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of National Instruments data acquisition modules and LabVIEW software.
- Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
- Conduct Independent Verification and Validation of existing LabVIEW software at customer site in West Bethesda, MD.
- Conduct testing with actual system hardware and document test results.
- Some travel (< 5%) required to customer test sites for software system installation, checkout, operation, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications- Active Secret clearance desired or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
- B.S. degree in Engineering, Science, Computer Science, Applied Math, or closely related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience developing LabVIEW software.
