Captivation Software is looking for a mid level systems engineer who shall collaborate closely with customer stakeholders to support a closed system that spans multiple locations across Capabilities and Operations.
RequirementsSecurity Clearance:
- Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen
- Seven (7) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required
- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
- Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- Proficiency using the Linux CLI and Linux Tools
- Demonstrated experience administering Linux systems
- Experience developing automation scripts (Bash/Python) to streamline operational and maintenance tasks
- Experience with the Agency’s STE/STN security compliance requirements and the ability to ensure systems adhere to established policies
- Familiar with basic Cisco switch configuration
- Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and container
- Experience with creating, maintaining, and updating clear, accurate, and accessible technical documentation
- Experience administering Windows systems
- Experience with NetApp storage devices
- Experience with virtualization technologies including vSphere/vCenter
- Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools such as Jira and Confluence

- Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
- Up to 20% 401k contribution (No Matching Required and Vested from Day 1)

Skills Required
