Join us as a Systems Business Analyst in FX Team!
We are seeking a talented, technically skilled, and self-motivated Systems Business Analyst to join our Foreign Exchange team in Krakow. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for analyzing requirements for business‑critical applications used by BBH FX traders in New York. This position requires a proactive professional who can contribute effectively across all phases of the project lifecycle.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Develop a strong understanding of system architecture and functionality, and assess the feasibility of user requests
- Gather, analyze, and document requirements for proposed changes, supporting scope definition
- Prepare and/or review specification documentation, including use cases, screen designs, workflow analyses, and diagrams
- Maintain requirements specifications, related documentation, and traceability matrices
- Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
- Participate in the design and development process, ensuring requirements are clearly understood and accurately implemented
- Support technical teams by clarifying business requirements and performing root cause analysis of issues
- Participate in system testing and user acceptance testing
- Support release activities, including preparing release communications, delivering training sessions, and creating user documentation
- Collaborate closely with project managers, developers, and QA specialists to deliver effective business solutions
- Actively participate in a Scrum development team and adhere to Agile principles

Qualifications – must have:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (from area of Accounting, Banking, Economics, Finance, Computer Science or Management Information Systems preferred)
- Analytical skills and 2/3 years of proven experience in systems analysis, defining and documenting business requirements
- Experience working with a Global team
- At least basic technical knowledge (e.g. programming skills, knowledge of SQL, database design, infrastructure) will be an asset
- Understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle and/or Agile methodology
- Familiarity with MS Visio, Jira, Confluence
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Fluent English
