Summary:
Atlantic Coast Mortgage, LLC (“ACM”) is seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to manage and optimize our IT infrastructure, ensure system reliability, and provide day-to-day support for our team. This role will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our Windows workstation/server environment, AWS cloud resources, and Unifi network infrastructure. This role also includes handling escalations, troubleshooting, implementing security best practices, and supporting mission-critical systems essential to our business operations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Manage, monitor, and maintain Windows Servers (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file/print services, etc.)
· Administer and optimize Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments, including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Workspaces, and networking
· Configure, monitor, and support Unifi networking equipment, including cameras, switches, access points, and firewalls
· Oversee and manage Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration
· Ensure system security through backups, patching, and vulnerability management
· Support end-users with hardware, software, and connectivity issues
· Support our IT helpdesk as a technical resource and primary escalation point
· Maintain clear and accurate documentation for systems, processes, and configurations
· Collaborate with leadership to plan and implement IT infrastructure improvements
· Assist with disaster recovery planning and execution
· Participate in an on-call rotation as needed
Qualifications
Required:
· 3+ years of IT systems administration experience
· Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work as part of a team/independently
· Extensive hands-on experience with Windows Server administration
· Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration
· Experience managing resources in AWS (EC2, IAM, S3, backups, networking).
· Solid understanding of Unifi (Ubiquiti) networking hardware
· Experience with Okta, Veeam, Mimecast, Cisco Umbrella, and ZenDesk
· Working knowledge of core networking concepts and protocols
· Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices
Preferred:
· Experience with mortgage/financial services industry systems
· Familiarity with management/monitoring tools (e.g., ConnectWise Automate [Labtech], PRTG)
· Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python, etc.)
· Virtualization experience (VMware)
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Always On VPN, Cisco AnyConnect
· Familiarity with Windows deployment – MDT, FOG, Intune, Autopilot
· Ability to work onsite in Fairfax, VA
