The System Administrators perform the following functions:
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned applications, handling Tier 1 system requests and providing support, troubleshooting, and assistance to employees with system-related issues.
- Design, plan, and execute system backups and disaster recovery processes.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and user account administration.
- Manage Microsoft/Office 365 environment and its integrations with the rest of the working environment.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshooting issues to ensure uptime and system availability.
- Apply system updates, patches, and configuration changes to the Server infrastructure.
- Assist in network security by researching and providing solutions to identified vulnerabilities.
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for tickets escalated from internal teams.
- Contribute to the department knowledgebase by documenting current system configurations, known procedures, and changes to existing platforms.
- Recommend new or innovative ideas to improve the overall work environment or company income
- Exercise sound judgment and discretion while remaining compliant with well-defined limits and guidelines.
- Deliver problem solving solutions and perform research as needed.
- Provide technical solutions in support of MIDFLORIDA’s electronic services.
- Professional and efficient communications with all departments promoting synergy.
- Exhibit a high degree of integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism always.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include:
- 3+ years of relevant Information Technology experience
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of Windows Servers
- Hands on experience with VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, PURE Storage, and VEEAM backups.
- Experience with Active Directory and Office 365.
- Experience monitoring and managing servers.
- Scripting experience with Powershell and the use of Rest API’s.
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- An Associate's/bachelor’s degree in management information systems or other computer-related field is preferred

- The Systems Administrator role is located in Lakeland, FL and is not a remote position.
