The System Administrator is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software related infrastructure. They participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. They ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational security and functional requirements.
What you will do here:
- 3rd Party Application support and maintenance
- Windows Server support, upgrades, and maintenance
- Active Directory, Exchange, Skype, and SharePoint Administration
- Trouble ticket remediation and responding to system failures
- Create system related documentation and procedures
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
What you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management or other related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- 2+ years experience including Windows server administration, configuration, and patching. User administration. Performing system upgrades and applying software and operating system patches Active Directory administration including GPO, DNS, DHCP, and NTFS. Specific type of related experience required for this role: Systems Analyst, Systems Administrator, Server Administrator required.
- 1+ years experience as a Network Administrator preferred.
- 1+ years experience with VMware Horizon, and VDI-Citrix Technologies preferred.
- Windows server administration and upgrades preferred.
- Demonstrated competency in supporting complex NFTS file structures preferred.
- Expertise troubleshooting Client/Server including desktop PCs, web servers, and database servers preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills preferred.
- Microsoft MCSE, MCSA, MCTS preferred.
- A+, Security+, or Network+ preferred.
