- Managing, securing, and maintaining critical IT infrastructure supporting government Research and Development (R&D) initiatives
- Supporting specialized, non-standard engineering software, rapid prototyping, and highly restricted air-gapped or closed-loop networks

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING
Requirements- Minimum of five years of systems administration experience, with at least two years supporting classified DoD or Intelligence Community (IC) networks (GenSer or SCI)
- Associates degree in computer science, cyber security, information technology, or related discipline, equivalent experience/certifications is acceptable
- DoD 8570/8140 Baseline Certification: Active IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE, GSEC, SSCP, or CCNA-Security)
- Must hold, or obtain within 6 months of hire, an OS-specific credential (e.g., Red Hat Certified System Administrator [RHCSA], Microsoft Certified Windows Server Administrator, or equivalent)
- Active IAT Level III certification (e.g., CISSP, CASP+, or CISA)
- Robust scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Ansible to automate deployments, STIG remediation, and routine health
- Experience running containerized workloads (Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes) in R&D sandbox environments
- Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and NIST SP 800-53
- Experience managing high-performance computing (HPC) clusters or GPU workstation
