Leidos’ National Security Sector is seeking a Systems Administrator / Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support US Army Central G2 at Shaw Air Force Base, SC. This role is part of the Sentinel G2 Army MI Enterprise, providing IT repair, maintenance, operations, logistics, and engineering services to ensure the secure and uninterrupted availability of Army Military Intelligence Enterprise IT Systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both systems administration and cybersecurity functions, supporting network administration in a Microsoft Enterprise software environment across multiple networks.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier I and Tier II support for customers, resolving hardware, software, and application issues across multiple networks.
Support a wide range of technologies, including:
Collaboration tools (Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Power Apps).
Email security, archiving, encryption (PKI), Office 365 integration.
Voice, Networking, JWICS VTC, and Microsoft OS deployment (Configuration Manager).
Diagnose and resolve issues with desktop and server hardware, as well as operating systems (Windows 10, Windows Server 2016 R2 or later).
Ensure compliance with DoD security mandates, including updates, SOPs, STIGs, IOS upgrades, and network security protocols.
Conduct weekly ACAS scans, track violations, and ensure timely mitigation.
Maintain Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M) for non-compliant security controls.
Edit organizational policies to ensure RMF security control compliance and conduct RMF assessments.
Support the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) in maintaining the appropriate IA posture for various systems and programs.
Provide service desk support as needed.
Lead or assist in special projects and daily operations assigned by the site lead.
Basic Qualifications:
Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of related experience. A Master’s degree may be considered in lieu of some years of experience. Additional years of experience, trainings, or certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Active CASP or higher (8570/8140 series certification) or Security+ with CASP obtained within six months of hire.
Strong understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and its application using NIST 800-53 security controls.
Preferred Qualifications:
One or more relevant certifications, such as:
Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or higher.
BAI eMASS eSSENTIALS.
Microsoft Windows 10.
NetApp Certified Data Administrator (ON TAP).
VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
CompTIA Server+.
Hands-on experience with RMF in eMASS.
Experience with Microsoft PowerShell and Power Platform.
Familiarity with VTC online scheduling tools.
