Overview:
This position will be responsible for providing support to Mortgage Servicing, including both performing and non-performing loans completing more basic system administration responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Identify terminated users and ensure removal of their access.
- Complete user access provisioning for basic systems following established guidelines.
- Complete table maintenance in basic systems.
- Complete real-time validation to ensure work is properly completed for basic systems.
- Facilitate basic user access recertifications
- Participate in simpler projects impacting the Systems Administration team.
- Participate in application testing for simpler system enhancements
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the business and its functions, processes and operations
- Follow up on requests until completion
- Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
- Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
- Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and internal controls. Keep documentation accurate, organized, and up to date, and track changes to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Complete other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Required:
Associates degree and a minimum of 1 years' relevant work experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 3 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 1 years' relevant work experience
Experience working independently or functioning as a member of a team
Basic computer skills, including pertinent software
Proven analytical skills
Proven problem-solving skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Experience making decisions based on information provided
Education and Experience Preferred:
Bachelor's degree
Previous system administration experience
Previous banking experience
