This role is a leadership position within End User Services, responsible for leading Trader Desktop and Voice Support across the Central and Western U.S. trading floors, supporting Commodities, Equities, Fixed Income, and Advisor trading businesses. The role provides oversight of operational performance, risk management, incident resolution, and service delivery for critical desktop, voice, and collaboration technologies. Responsibilities include team leadership, onboarding, performance management, workforce planning, and building strong partnerships with Lines of Business. The successful candidate will work closely with Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Engineering teams to ensure support services are delivered effectively and aligned with regulatory, security, and operational requirements, while maintaining service excellence and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
In this role, you will:
- Manage a Systems Operations Engineers team that provides Desktop and Voice support to Traders
- Engage stakeholders and internal partners associated with the Systems Operations functional area
- Identify and recommend opportunities within Systems Operations to increase system efficiency and lower human intervention time on technical tasks
- Make decisions and resolve issues regarding operating systems, application software, and system management tools to meet business objectives
- Interpret and develop policies and procedures, and understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported system area
- Collaborate and consult with analysts, Information Technology personnel, or vendors
- Manage mid to highly experienced analysts
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Systems Operations
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring
- 5+ years of Systems Engineering, and Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of Leadership experience
- 1+ year of direct management within technology
- 4+ years of experience leading and developing individual contributors in an IT or end-user services environment supporting trader floors
- Bachelor's degree or above, in Computer Science, Business other related discipline
- Abilities to lead and drive Operation efficiencies & improvements, and automations
- Ownership of processes, procedures, or service offerings with moderate-to-high complexity
- Strong understanding of IT service operations, incident/problem management in ServiceNow, and continuous improvement
- Demonstrated risk management discipline and adherence to enterprise policies and controls
- Experience balancing business outcomes with risk and regulatory requirements
- Experience with cloud technologies, including Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and AWS.
- Ability to Drive operational efficiency and improve productivity.
- Works well under pressure with the ability to deliver information and services in an expedited manner.
- Experience in Data Analysis utilizing Microsoft Suite, and Ability to generate Executive summaries and present it in PowerPoint Presentations
- Utilize data analysis and reporting tools to track operational performance, identify trends, and deliver meaningful insights to stakeholders through dashboards and executive summaries
- This position required to be in the office five days per week
