In this role, you will be part of our R&D team, focusing on RF system testing of cutting-edge 2G/3G/4G/5G cellular communication solutions, ensuring high performance and reliability across power amplifiers, RF chains, and antenna elements. You will collaborate closely with development and testing teams to validate new features, manage defects, and support successful system acceptance and global deployments.
As a Cognyter you will:
- System testing of cutting edge 2G/3G/4G/5G cellular communications solutions, including power amplifiers, RF chains and antenna elements
- Work closely with Software Developers and Testers teams to validate the new functionality
- Report and manage defects
- Manage system acceptance tests
- Microsoft Test Manager and TFS are used to manage the sprints, run tests and track bugs
- Take part in the company’s Innovation Initiatives
- Perform both in-house / offshore activities and provides back-office support to Tier 3 deployment engineers
- Travel globally to support project rollouts (approximately 10–20% travel expected).
For that mission you’ll need:
- BSc or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- Experience of software QA/Testing tools and methodologies
- Experience testing hybrid SW + HW systems (Smart TV, IP phones etc.)
- Experience of working in Scrum/Agile
- Experience in using the Linux operating system
Would be consider an advantage:
- Knowledge of 2G/3G/4G/5G technologies
- Experience with power amplifiers, DC and AC power systems, RF components
- Experience with RF testing tools (FSH Spectrum Analyser or similar)
