We are looking for a talented System Integration Engineer to join the SI team in Romania.
As a Cognyter you will:
- Responsibility for supporting complex systems at customer site, based on multipart technology:
- Install, configure, and test, HW appliances, operating systems, application software, and system management tools
- Liaise with vendors and other 3rd party technical personnel for problem resolution
- Customer-facing responsibility:
- Manage the ongoing support discussions with technology and operation teams
- Serve as the first escalation level and customer focal point for systems under implementation
- Act as the customer's trusted advisor and mediate between the customer and tiers’ support units
- Engage with customer teams to understand the reported issues and demonstrate the fixes
- Collect, compose, review, and present the Root Cause Analysis
Requirements
For that mission you'll need:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, System Engineering, or a related subject
- Proven work experience of min 3 years as a Support Engineer / System Engineer
- Technical troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Ability to write technical documentation
- Operating systems Windows & Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu)
- Automation tools: Ansible
- Containers and orchestration: Kubernetes, Helm, Docker
- CI: Jenkins, Jenkins pipelines
- Scripting languages: Python, Bash
- Big Data (Hadoop, HDFS, Kafka)
- WAN & LAN communication equipment
- Virtualization (Vmware, HyperV)
Nice to have:
- Telecom (GSM, LTE, 5G) signaling methods, Payload types, Carrier-class networking
- Central storage solutions and enterprise server hardware (EMC, Netapp, HPE, Dell)
- Circuit switch, packet data and ISP networks (GSM, LTE, HSPA, PSTN, IP, MPLS, Ethernet)
- Database administration and maintenance, MS SQL and postgreSQL

Skills Required
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience as a Support Engineer or Systems Engineer
- Technical troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Ability to write technical documentation
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, including RHEL and Ubuntu
- Experience with Ansible
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker
- Experience with Jenkins and Jenkins pipelines
- Scripting experience with Python and Bash
- Knowledge of Hadoop, HDFS, and Kafka
- Knowledge of WAN and LAN communication equipment
- Experience with VMware and Hyper-V virtualization
- Knowledge of telecom signaling methods, payload types, and carrier-class networking
