About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Systems Engineering tasks for Japan region. This includes interacting with the team of architects (both software and system), Domain engineers, and delivery team for smooth and quality delivery for our valuable customers.
What You Will Do
- Understanding of the system software, drivers, system architecture, design methodologies, software platform integration with hardware bring up.
- Technical analysis and assessment of customer requirements and final clarification with customer
- Architectural coordination meetings with project management and customer
- Handling non-functional requirements, Eg: Performance KPI, stability criteria and memory and CPU budgets for our products
- Analysis of customer change requests
- Collaboration with multiple domains to ensure the good quality of the feature delivery.
- Monitoring of development status and the quality of work products according to Harman standards
- First hand analysis on the issues reported and fixing the issues.
- Will be involved in debugging of system stability and Performance related issues.
- Execution of design and code reviews
- The scope of the role is global.
- This role demands Collaboration, Judgement and result driven.
What You Need
- Engineering Degree/master’s in computer science/Electronics/Electrical as an Educational Qualification.
- Should have a good overall system knowledge.
- Proven knowledge in modern operating systems as Android, Linux, QNX, and AUTOSAR.
- Should be Strong in C and C++ .
- Should be strong in System debugging and optimization.
- Profound Knowledge of automotive communication architectures like CAN and Ethernet as well as communication protocols as TCP/IP, SomeIP, AVB, I2C, UART, SPI
- Good communication skills.
What Makes You Eligible
- 5+ Years of total experience with at least 3 years of experience in automotive domain.
- Be willing to travel up to 10%, domestic and international travel.
- Successfully complete a background investigation/Aptitude Test as a condition of employment.
