As a System Engineering Content Creator Intern, you will work closely with our Systems Engineering team to create written content and engaging multimedia that explains SRAM's development processes, tools, and system requirements. Your work will directly contribute to more efficient cross-functional understanding, and the successful integration of systems engineering into our firmware and product development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers to document know-how, especially where no documentation exists, e.g. written guides, create tutorial videos and for systems engineering tools, processes and requirements
- Improve and maintain existing documentation tables, diagrams and training materials
- Help visualize requirements and systems processes to improve team understanding
- Review implementation of engineering processes and suggest improvements
- Support onboarding by creating content that explains key tools and workflows
Qualifications
- Enrolled in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Technical Communication, Media Engineering, or similar study programs
- Strong written communication and organizational skills
- Solid experience in video editing, technical writing, or content creation
- Basic understanding of systems engineering or product development, principles with interest in firmware/hardware development
- Proactive, curious and innovative mindset with passion for continuous improvement; able to work independently and with engineers
- Comfortable collaborating with people from various disciplines and technical backgrounds
- Comfortable switching quickly between topics and managing parallel tasks efficiently
- Experience with visualization tools, Atlassian tools (Jira or Confluence), or requirements tools (Codebeamer) is a plus
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
- Available for 5-6 months as of 1 October 2025 (paid internship)
