MicroTech seeks a System Engineer with expert-level knowledge of MEDXS system architecture to support the global MEDEX/MEDXS mission. This key position supports system integration, configuration, troubleshooting, and sustainment across distributed operational environments.
Responsibilities- Apply MEDXS architecture expertise to engineering, integration, and sustainment activities.
- Analyze application, infrastructure, network, and database dependencies.
- Evaluate proposed system changes for compatibility and operational impact.
- Support installation, configuration, testing, and validation of approved changes.
- Diagnose system problems and maintain architecture diagrams, technical procedures, and configuration documentation.
- Expert-level knowledge of MEDXS system architecture.
- Ability to evaluate system interfaces, dependencies, and operational impacts.
- Ability to communicate technical findings and coordinate solutions with engineering and operations teams.
- Proven experience managing personnel deployments, navigating the Synchronized Pre-deployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT), and coordinating host-nation theater clearance and DOCPER requirements across multiple OCONUS areas of responsibility.
- Active Secret clearance and a valid U.S. passport with at least 18 months of validity remaining on the first day of contract performance
- Assigned DCWF role: 632, Systems Developer, Intermediate
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent
- CSSLP or GCLD or GSEC or Microsoft Engineer/Architect certification or equivalent preferred with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Applicable DoDM 8140.03 foundational qualifications must be satisfied before independently performing duties requiring privileged access or covered cybersecurity functions
This is a Government-designated Key Personnel position requiring technical and OCONUS readiness on the first day of performance and continuity throughout the assignment.
