MicroTech seeks a Senior System Engineer to support military health IT systems and enterprise network nodes within the global MEDEX/MEDXS mission. This key position connects operational requirements with systems engineering, integration, and OCONUS mobilization activities.
Responsibilities- Analyze mission requirements and develop technical requirements, implementation plans, and verification criteria.
- Engineer and integrate military health IT capabilities across enterprise network nodes.
- Assess system dependencies, interoperability, capacity, and operational readiness.
- Support OCONUS theater mobilization, site readiness, and technical deployment activities.
- Resolve complex system issues and maintain requirements traceability and engineering documentation.
- Hands-on experience with military health IT systems and enterprise network nodes.
- Demonstrated experience supporting OCONUS theater mobilization.
- Ability to develop clear technical requirements and coordinate across engineering and operational stakeholders.
- Proven experience managing personnel deployments, navigating the Synchronized Pre-deployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT), and coordinating host-nation theater clearance and DOCPER requirements across multiple OCONUS areas of responsibility.
- Active Secret clearance and a valid U.S. passport with at least 18 months of validity remaining on the first day of contract performance
- Assigned DCWF role: 641, Systems Requirements Planner, Intermediate
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or equivalent
- Microsoft Engineer/Architect certification and CCSP or CFR or FITSP-m or GSEC or Sec+ or SSCP or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Applicable DoDM 8140.03 foundational qualifications must be satisfied before independently performing duties requiring privileged access or covered cybersecurity functions
This is a Government-designated Key Personnel position requiring technical and OCONUS readiness on the first day of performance and continuity throughout the assignment.
Comp Band: $93 - $132K

- Hands-on experience with military health IT systems and enterprise network nodes
- Experience supporting OCONUS theater mobilization
- Experience managing personnel deployments, SPOT, host-nation theater clearance, and DOCPER requirements across multiple OCONUS areas of responsibility
