Essential Responsibilities
- 5 to 9 years of experience to carry out the engineering and software development for any process industry control systems etc.,
- Be part of a multi-disciplined project team, control system development and Validation for different domain projects.
- Improve the efficiency of the engineering process, through development and use of standard engineering solutions for projects.
- Manage change using the engineering change control system.
- Liaise with cross functional team, Sales, Project, Commissioning and Service teams.
- Liaise with other company, customers, suppliers, and sub-contractors to support the project execution.
- Provide Technical advice and assistance to sales and tendering teams.
- Adapt Project specific system controls for general industry automation system and high current rectifier application.
- Comply with all company and customer health and safety regulations.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Master’s / bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation engineering.
- Minimum 5 Years of hands-on experience in engineering and commissioning of automation systems.
- Experience in Processes like Steel manufacturing (Metals), Test benches, Mining, Rectifiers, Rotating Stabilisers (Synchronous Condensers), Grid Automation etc.,
- Autonomous hands-on experience in GE / Siemens / ABB / Allen Bradely / Beckhoff / Rockwell etc., automation products (PLCs, I/O, HMI etc.,) for multiple applications.
- Expertise in automation architectures, hardware engineering, I/O selection, instruments, component selection etc.,
- Strong Programming knowledge in FBD, Ladder, Structured Text etc., in any industrial PLC system.
- Very good experience and knowledge in redundancy in PLC and SCADA systems.
- Good knowledge in different industrial networks, managed and unmanaged switch settings, virtual networking, ring networking and hands on experience in implementing in Projects.
- Good knowledge in cybersecurity and it’s implementation in industrial networking.
- Expertise in various communication protocols like Profibus, Profinet, TCP/IP, EtherCAT, Modbus (TCP), IEC61850, SNMP, etc.,
- Good experience in various field instruments and their interfaces + signal processing
- Good experience in measurement systems, current transformers etc.,
