We are looking to hire IS/IT System Engineers with good level of skills and technical knowledge in Linux and Windows environments and with cybersecurity knowledge to manage our Customers network and
computer systems.
In this position, the candidate will be responsible:
- To support and participate to design hardware and software configurations.
- To install and supporting software in a complex environment.
- To manage network systems.
- To analyze technical system issues and troubleshooting.
- To manage/support cybersecurity tools and configurations.
All activities for which the candidate will be responsible will be carried out in cooperation with other team members, the assigned Service Delivery Manager and the customer's technical staff who will need the
specific technical support.
The technological environment where the candidate will work is the Business Managed Network (BMN) i.e. the customer's business laboratory networks.
Responsibilities
- To participate to design complex Network and Datacenter architectures and infrastructures
- Identify and deliver/implement/deploy specific technical solutions in a new infrastructure or to be integrated in an existing one.
- Ensures the availability, performance & security of infrastructure.
- Makes evolve the infrastructure to meet organization needs.
- Analyses dysfunctions & takes necessary actions to resolve them with the support of technical team of which it is part.
- Actively monitors technological innovations & best practices.
- Ensures On-Prem and Cloud platform security, availability, speed & reliability.
- Support to designs & implements strategies for IS security & data protection.
- Meeting with the Service Delivery Manager and Customer Technical Staff to discuss system needs.
- Filing monthly reports for the Service Delivery Manager.

Knowledge, skills & experience
- 7-10 years of work experience with Linux and Windows complex environments, networking, virtualization, cloud environments, cybersecurity tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field: not a compulsory requirement, but a distinctive and most qualifying element of the candidate.
- Basic experience with cybersecurity tools (i.e. Antimalware, EDR/XDR, firewall, ids/ips etc.).
- A good knowledge of English language, written and spoken, is required.
- Technical certifications in Windows, Linux, datacenter, networking, virtualization and cybersecurity environments: not a compulsory requirement, but a distinctive and most qualifying element of the candidate.
- Aptitude for working in a team and with multiple customer demands.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
- Ensures implementation of continuous integration & delivery linked to infrastructure.
- Assists users by receiving reported incidents/difficulties.
