What you will be doing:
- You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to design system-level solutions, including the integration of SoCs, schematic and layout evaluations, manufacturing support, production testing, system validation, and troubleshooting. A critical aspect of the role will be ensuring that all designs are suitable for small form factor applications.
- Design, develop, and integrate electrical systems and subsystems, including analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware and software engineers, to ensure the successful integration of electrical systems into products
- Perform schematic design, PCB layout review, and ensure the electrical systems meet required performance, power, and size constraints.
- Conduct system validation, troubleshooting, and performance testing to ensure the functionality of electrical systems.
- Work with vendors and suppliers to select components, ensuring compatibility with design specifications
What you bring to this role:
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on system-level design and integration.
- In-depth knowledge of mixed-signal components such as PMICs, amplifiers, codecs, sensors, op-amps, ADCs, DACs, memory, charging circuits, and experience with integrating SoCs into designs and adding peripherals
- Strong understanding of analog and mixed-signal design principles, including noise, linearity, and signal integrity
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, I2S, PCI-e etc.
- Familiarity with integrating designs into small form factor products, ensuring functionality within space and power constraints
- Familiarity with low-power electronics, sensor interface circuits, and SoC integration
- Experience with prototyping, debugging, and characterizing mixed-signal hardware

What We Do
E-Space is a global space company focused on bridging Earth and space with the most sustainable low earth orbit (LEO) network that is expected to reach over one hundred thousand multi-application communication satellites to help businesses and governments securely and affordably access the power of space to solve problems on Earth. Founded by industry pioneer Greg Wyler, E-Space is focused on democratizing space and transforming industries by bringing down the cost of space-based communications, raising the level of satellite system resiliency and setting a new standard in sustainable space infrastructure that will effectively minimize and reduce space debris and destruction while preserving access to space for future generations.
