System Analyst/Researcher 4G/5G, Tietoevry Create (m/f/d)

This position is located in Poland for R&D area for telecommunication industry. Main area of System Analyst responsibilities is focused on research and analysis tasks.

Wrocław/Szczecin/Poznań/Kraków/Warszawa or 100% home office work is possible!

Your team:

• is responsible for delivering new feature specifications and algorithms for 5G.
• uses machine learning and AI solutions;
• count around 30 people and is multinational. Some polish team-members are only English speaking;
• is divided on areas, so it means that team-members have their own specialization as a sub-teams ;
• works very closely with other teams located in Sweden, China and Poland.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Drive and contribute to systems studies in 5G in the area of Radio Resource Management (eg Scheduling, Link Adaptation, Beam Forming, Carrier Aggregation, Fast Cell Coordination) and also the  Radio Physical Layer
• Work collaboratively on new features, simulations and improvements with cross-functional development teams.
• Develop software simulations for the performance analysis of 5G features and algorithms, both link-level and network-level simulations.
• Contribute to advances in 5G Standards.
• Contribute to Innovation and IPR. File Invention disclosures and Patents.
• Support the deployment of new 5G products and features into customer networks. Understand customer configurations and issues.

We expect you have:

• Strong background in communications theory and digital signal processing
• Good knowledge of 5G specifications, especially in the areas of the L1 Physical Layer, Digital Signal Processing, Radio Resource Management and Mobility AND/OR L3
• Some experience in L1 simulator
• Analytical mindset, high capacity, result oriented and ability to deliver under pressure.
• Excellent English skills, both verbal and written, because of English-speaking work environment.

It's very useful if you have:

• Professional experience on similar position in telecommunication area.
• Hands-on experience with programming languages like: C, C++ or/and Java
• Experience in analysis of simulations
