Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Owens & Minor is looking for a SAP Security Analyst to work with business teams to maintain and improve existing security controls as appropriate. This individual will ensure SAP security configuration is compliant with industry standards and maintain roles and end user permissions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provide end-to-end support to business and IT users on security authorization issues
- Execute programs and initiatives focusing on SAP Security, SAP GRC and audit readiness of SAP environments
- Assist in delivering three core departmental responsibilities: SAP application security and user provisioning support, Segregation of Duties (SoD) Analysis and GRC Administration
- Implement SAP security solutions to protect SAP systems from both internal and external threats
- Identify opportunities for improvement in the areas of SAP Security, SAP GRC, and SAP controls
- Maintain SOP documentation on security roles, GRC, and separation of duties
SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Performs additional duties as directed by senior team members and manager. Effectively accomplishes set goals while primarily working in a remote capacity.
Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent profession experience listed for the position
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in SAP Security support and project implementation
- Minimum 1 years’ experience working in a customer service orientated environment.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Solid technical experience on SAP Security responsibilities, including configuring and managing role authorization and user access provisioning
- Strong conceptual, analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting and resolution skills
- Experience in SAP GRC Access Control 12.0 desire
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with all levels of the organization, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well in a team environment, to collaborate with others, and interface with team members internal and external to the organization
- Establish and maintain effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Flexibility and ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, well-organized, and detail oriented
- Ability to elicit complex requirements and translate them into manageable and implementable work units.
- Must be able to adapt to organizational change
- Scheduling flexibility to support the business needs
