Jam City is seeking an experienced System Administrator III to join our IT Solutions team. This position is critical to expanding our team’s capacity to execute on multiple high-priority projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong system administration expertise, hands-on experience with automation tools, and a solid understanding of programming principles. This role is key to supporting the maintenance and enhancement of our internal systems, automating tasks, and ensuring smooth integration between various platforms and applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer and maintain core IT systems with a focus on automation, security and scalability.
- Create and execute complex queries in databases and perform data analysis to support IT and corporate projects.
- Collaborate with IT team members and other internal stakeholders to gather requirements, generate data-driven insights, and provide customized solutions.
- Utilize no-code/low-code automation tools (e.g., Okta Workflows) to automate repetitive tasks and streamline IT processes.
- Configure and manage IAM solutions, particularly in Okta, including SSO/SAML integrations, app provisioning, and workflow automations.
- Test new system configurations in sandbox environments to ensure stability before implementing changes in production.
- Manage and optimize integrations between various SaaS applications, ensuring seamless interoperability.
- Act as a subject matter expert in provisioning and user lifecycle management.
- Support IT projects by developing automation scripts and using popular programming languages (Python, SQL, etc.) to enhance efficiency.
- Support IT projects by developing custom tailored solutions using API libraries of SaaS Applications in our Company Tech Stack.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including corporate engineering and internal development teams, to ensure alignment on technical needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in collaboration with IT Support and other internal teams.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in system administration, ideally with experience in corporate IT environments.
- Strong knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Okta Workflows) and scripting to automate system and workflow tasks.
- Familiarity with IAM principles, particularly Okta (SSO/SAML, app provisioning, de-provisioning, user lifecycle management).
- Ability to query and analyze data from databases using SQL.
- Programming knowledge (Python, PowerShell, or similar) to create automations and solve data-driven challenges.
- Experience working with SaaS applications and building integrations between various platforms.
- Experience building custom tailored integrations between SaaS applications by using API libraries.
- Familiarity with sandbox testing environments and methodologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system configurations and provide root cause analysis.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with enterprise IT environments supporting 500+ employees.
- Familiarity with additional no-code tools (e.g., Zapier) for workflow automations.
- Understanding of data security and compliance requirements in IT system administration.
- Experience with cloud platforms and related services (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure) is a plus.
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation for this role. The range listed is just one component of Jam City's total compensation package for employees, which may also include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, certifications, location, business needs, or market demands. This range is based on a full-time position. This range may be modified in the future. In addition, Jam City provides a variety of benefits to employees, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan, life, disability, and accident insurance. Pay Range: $80,000 — $110,000 salary per year.
