Job SummaryWe are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic L1 System Administrator to join our Datacenter and Cloud Operations team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Linux and Windows server administration, basic networking, and IT infrastructure support. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining servers while ensuring high availability of customer services hosted in our Datacenter and Cloud environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor Datacenter and Cloud infrastructure 24x7 using monitoring tools.
Perform basic administration of Linux and Windows servers.
Handle L1 incident troubleshooting and provide timely resolution or escalate to the L2 team when required.
Perform user management, password resets, and access management.
Monitor server health, CPU, memory, storage, and network utilization.
Check and troubleshoot server services, disk usage, and system logs.
Perform server reboot, service restart, and basic performance troubleshooting.
Create and maintain technical documentation and operational reports.
Execute scheduled maintenance activities during planned windows.
Perform basic backup verification and restoration activities.
Coordinate with internal teams and customers during incidents and maintenance activities.
Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), security policies, and change management processes.
Maintain proper incident, service request, and change records in the ticketing system.
Support virtualization and cloud environments under the guidance of senior engineers.
Participate in shift-based operations, including weekends and holidays, as per business requirements.
Basic administration of RHEL, CentOS, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, or AlmaLinux.
