About this opportunity:
The Product Development Leader plays a critical role in maintaining Ericsson's competitive edge through technology management. The position focuses on governance, operational excellence, and developing capabilities at individual, team, and organizational levels.
What you will do:
The NexOps Operation Transformation Lead will enable governance, financial oversight, and operational predictability for NexOps, driving transformation toward a unified DevSecOps pipeline and accelerated release cycles.
Governance and Operations• Ensure consistency in tools, processes, and reporting.• Uphold security, compliance, and organizational standards.• Maintain audit-ready governance documentation with traceability.• Establish seamless governance structures with BOS PDUs and systems.
Collaboration and Alignment• Work with SWPS Common Automation Programs like CI&R and CD&T to unify Ways of Working (triage processes, competence ramp-up, onboarding readiness, and ownership transfers).• Define and track NexOps Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) in collaboration with the leadership team.
Leadership Governance• Facilitate governance focusing on strategy, financials, and innovation.• Use tooling and dashboards with predictive analytics to address capacity planning, DevSecOps, and transformation goals.• Drive automation and streamline roadmaps for governance tools such as JIRA and Power BI.
Continuous Improvement• Provide actionable insights for decision-making.• Leverage data to propose enhancements, benchmark performance, and resolve stability risks.• Implement frameworks to mitigate risks and address escalations.
Financial Governance• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization for NexOps Unit• Monitor financial performance relative to transformation objectives.
Advocacy and Culture• Champion DevSecOps and Platform Engineering culture with unified Ways of Working.• Serve as a SPOC for GenAI initiatives and implementation.
This leadership role is pivotal to achieving NexOps' goals, including governance, operational predictability, and unification of DevSecOps pipelines. The Product Development Leader drives innovation, oversees financial transformation objectives, and promotes a lean, agile culture.
The skills you bring:
• 15+ years of experience in management roles in software development, preferably in telecom or software product environments.• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Software Development in Cloud native eco-system and related tools.• Proven experience in OSS/BSS and associated development and release processes.• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across organizational boundaries.• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, PowerBI, Kanban boards, and other agile project management tools.• Ability to manage global teams and work across multiple time zones• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.• Experience in telecom product lifecycle management and commercial release processes. • Certification in Agile, SAFe, or PMP is a value-add.
