SW Project Manager

Work location: Piossasco (TO)

Who will you be working with?

You will work for Annax, a Wabtec site specialized in passenger information systems for long and short distance trains, trams and subways.

How will you make a difference?

As a Software Project Manager you will drive end-to-end delivery of software projects for Wabtec’s Passenger Information Systems, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, business goals, technical standards, budget and deadlines

What will your typical day look like?

• Lead and motivate software development teams and facilitate communication between developers, testers, QA and other stakeholders
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee deliverables with internal teams and stakeholders
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation
• Ensure project budget and cost efficiency targets are met
• Manage project requirements, scope, and change management issues
• Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies and manage issues proactively
• Application of modern system and software development methods in the context of project management and further development of existing processes
• Participating in the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, specifications, milestone scheduling
• Building trusting customer relationships and ensuring high customer satisfaction through regular, binding communication and presentation of project results

What do we want to know about you?

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• +4 years of experience in Software Project Management
• Professional knowledge of English and Italian
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project, JIRA, etc.)
• Availability to travel internationally
