Position title: SW Project Manager 
Location: Atlanta, GA, USA or Dallas/Ft Worth, TX USA 

Job Functions: 

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope, and budget 

  • Assist in the documentation of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders 

  • Develop a detailed, comprehensive project plan to monitor and track progress 

  • Drive and document change management process for potential changes to project scope, project schedule, and project costs 

  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques 

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects 

  • Report and escalate to management as needed  

  • Perform risk management to minimize and mitigate project risks  

  • Communicate and track internal, cross-functional and cross-team dependencies  

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation  

  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term milestones  

  • Manage and track project spend against budget and resource allocation 

  • Clearly communicate important status updates with various levels of management  

  • Facilitate and lead internal, cross-functional and cross-team meetings. 

  • Perform other related duties as assigned Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs 

 

Knowledge & Skills: 

  • BA/BS degree and 2+ years of related experience. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills are needed to work well with a talented team.  

  • Strong communication skills, verbal, written and presentation. 

  • Strong Project Management skills, experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies. 

  • Strong proficiency with Smartsheet or equivalent project management tools. 

  • Jira experience preferred 

  • Must be able to work in a complex, dynamic team environment with minimal supervision and possess great organizational skills.  

  • Knowledge of technical product capabilities. 

  • Ability to interface with all levels of management, internal departments, and clients to understand product requirements and communicate product abilities. 

  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple assignments daily. 

  • Strong negotiation skills to manage project scope, risks, and issues. 

  • Skilled in determining basic budgets and controlling costs.
