What You'll Do

  • Seek out, gain and  maintain new business for FIRST Insurance Funding Corp. in the Northwest Region.
  • Develop and maintain profitable new business by visiting agents, attending industry events, shows, and also seeking out opportunities with companies and/or general agents of quality and acceptability in accordance with FIRST guidelines.
  • Maintain contact with current customers by analyzing their needs, identifying problems and providing solutions in order to retain and expand their loan volume.
  • Communicate with sales team in order to maximize new sales opportunities and monitor processing problems and/or operational efficiencies.
  • Provide internal assistance to Marketing and Collection personnel as needed and keep a watchful eye on industry trends.
  • Efficient use of travel and entertainment budget and timely submittal of expense reports and
  • Establish and maintain CRM system and communicate weekly activity to management as directed.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in insurance industry preferred

  • C-Suite level negotiation experience a plus

  • Financial acumen and knowledge

  • Travel required - Oregon & Washington

Compensation

The estimated base salary range for this role is $75,000-$90,000, along with eligibility to earn commission. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
