The SVP of Operations Transformation will serve as the chief architect for designing, building, and scaling
Theoria Medical's unified Central Operations hub. In this role, you will own the delivery of the specialized
toolsets, automation platforms, and infrastructure required to support a dual-revenue engine: optimizing
high-volume Fee-For-Service (FFS) revenue cycles while simultaneously scaling Value-Based Care (VBC)
workflows. Additionally, you will own the central utilities of Medical Records, Laboratory Integrations,
and Referral Management, while driving the end-to-end operational implementation strategy with facility
partners. This role also provides secondary oversight to ensure our daytime Telemedicine team is effectively
deployed to support LEAD facility launches and broad footprint coverage.
Key Responsibilities
Central Operations & Ancillary Services Ownership
- Build Centralized Hubs: Design, staff, and scale a world-class Central Operations function to
standardize multi-state provider support, credentialing, and scheduling. - Medical Records Management: Centralize and automate the retrieval, auditing, and processing of
medical records to ensure compliance, rapid billing velocity, and continuity of care. - Lab Workflows & Integrations: Build and manage high-throughput pipelines for laboratory ordering
and results routing, ensuring critical diagnostic data reaches clinicians instantly. - Referral Management Infrastructure: Architect a centralized, friction-free inbound and outbound
referral management engine to maximize patient volume and streamline transitions of care. - Dual-Model Optimization: Design operational frameworks that maximize Fee-For-Service (FFS)
volume and capture, while simultaneously building workflows for Value-Based Care risk models. - Vendor & Tool Selection: Evaluate, procure, and implement enterprise-grade workflow automation
tools to reduce manual overhead across all centralized departments.
Facility Partner Implementation & Integration
- Onboarding Blueprint Strategy: Standardize and execute the operational playbook for launch and
integration within new partner facilities (SNFs, ALFs, and senior communities). - B2B Workflow Integration: Bridge Central Operations with facility-specific workflows and systems
(e.g., PointClickCare, MatrixCare) to ensure frictionless clinical coordination. - Joint Governance & Relationship Management: Establish implementation timelines and joint
operational steering committees with executive leadership at partner facilities to ensure
accountability and deep alignment. - Change Management: Lead on-the-ground training, adoption, and cultural change management
initiatives for facility staff to accelerate utilization of Theoria's services.
Provider Productivity & Experience
- Maximize Clinical Throughput: Build the tooling and systems required to optimize daily clinician
schedules, reduce travel times, and increase active patient-facing hours. - EHR Optimization: Partner with product teams to streamline the proprietary EHR platform
(ChartEasy), minimizing charting friction and preventing provider burnout. - Administrative Automation: Build and implement automated routing for administrative tasks, including documentation, lab tracking, and prior authorizations.
Value-Based Care Workflows
- Risk Model Tooling: Develop operational tools that embed VBC requirements directly into daily
clinical workflows, focusing on preventive intervention and chronic care management. - Hospitalization Prevention: Design real-time tracking systems within Central Operations to quickly
flag at-risk patients and lower hospital readmission rates. - Data Integration: Ensure seamless data exchange between Central Operations, remote patient
monitoring (RPM) platforms, and facility partners
Telemedicine Team Operations & Footprint Support
- Daytime Telemed Management: Manage and optimize the daytime telemedicine team, focusing on
maximizing clinician utilization and balancing cross-footprint coverage needs. - LEAD Launch Alignment: Coordinate telemedicine resources to support and stabilize new LEAD
facility launches as a secondary operational layer.
Performance Management & Insights - Own the Dashboard: Create executive-level productivity scorecards to monitor provider utilization,
billing velocity, lab turnaround times, referral conversion rates, and value-based outcomes. - Enforce Accountability: Leverage analytics to identify low-performing workflows and drive swift
process interventions across the regional teams.
Qualifications
- Executive Experience: 10+ years of operational leadership, explicitly building or scaling a
Centralized Operations/MSO hub within a fast-growing healthcare organization. - Ancillary Operations Expertise: Proven track record directly managing and scaling high-volume
Medical Records (HIM), Lab routing systems, and Referral coordination departments. - Strategic Dual-Model Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience balancing Fee-For-Service
operational metrics (billing velocity, coding accuracy) with Value-Based Care workflows (quality
tracking, utilization management). - B2B Implementation Track Record: Proven success leading complex, multi-site operational
rollouts with external healthcare enterprise/facility partners. - Productivity-First Mindset: Proven track record of deploying technologies and tools that
measurably increase clinical team capacity and decrease administrative burden. - Post-Acute Domain Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the post-acute care ecosystem, including
skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), assisted living, and senior care networks. - Telehealth Management Experience: Experience overseeing telemedicine operations or clinical
coverage logistics (highly valued but secondary to central MSO operations). - Education: Bachelor's degree required; MBA, MHA, or equivalent advanced degree highly
preferred. - Skills: Advanced financial modeling, risk-assessment frameworks, contract negotiation expertise,
and proficiency with healthcare analytics platforms. Advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills required.
Claude co-work experience preferred.
