We are looking for a skilled strategist and communicator with a passion for sustainability and technology to join our Corporate Sustainability team. In this role, you will help NVIDIA explore and pursue how AI can contribute to sustainability through impactful initiatives, partnerships and messaging. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to help the world appreciate and achieve AI’s incredible potential for good.
What you'll be doing:
Develop multi-year strategy for unlocking the power of AI for sustainability, pursuing initiatives and messaging to drive and highlight positive impacts
Collaborate across departments to identify ecosystem partnerships—with customers, NGOs, research institutions, and industry coalitions—that demonstrate and strengthen AI’s potential for the public good
Draft messaging designed to support the company in communicating AI’s environmental and social benefits to media, policymakers, investors, and other external audiences
Actively monitor public discourse, media coverage, and policy debates around AI and sustainability to identify emerging narratives, risks, and opportunities
Work with NVIDIA’s Corporate Communications and Global Affairs teams on research and strategies to showcase AI’s current and anticipated societal benefits
Synthesize technical sustainability data and analysis into accessible content for non-specialist audiences, including op-eds, FAQs, and presentation materials
What we need to see:
Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, public policy, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
12+ years of experience in sustainability or public affairs roles, ideally in the technology sector
Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical or scientific topics into clear, accurate content for general audiences
Experience developing messaging and materials for executive spokespeople, including for media and government relations contexts
Solid grasp of corporate sustainability issues, including climate, greenhouse gas accounting, energy, and ESG frameworks
Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize information quickly across technical and policy domains
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to accuracy and tone
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Familiarity with how AI and machine learning systems work, including awareness of their energy use and environmental trade-offs
Experience working with or within AI, cloud, or semiconductor companies
Established relationships in sustainability, technology policy, or corporate communications networks
